When does DuMOL release wines?
We release wine to our Members seasonally four times a year, in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
The Spring release comprises approachable wines that drink beautifully while young – perfect to enjoy upon release during the summer months – and still stunning even after cellaring for up to 15 years.
The Fall release includes our coveted Vineyard Designate wines. These highly sought-after wines exhibit lasting age-ability with a deep sense of place, drawing out the features of each exemplary vineyard site from which they are made.
The Winter release showcases our portfolio of Cabernet Sauvignon wines and renowned Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay. You’ll often find select Library wines in this release, as well. Andy carries decades of experience crafting world-class Cabernets and has chosen exceptional sites for DuMOL’s Cabernet program.
Our most loyal Members will have access to our Summer Release, featuring new additions to the portfolio: Chenin Blanc and Mencia. Due to limited quantities of these special wines, we are not able to extend access to all Members at this time.
Our 2022 release schedule is as follows:
- Spring: Opens February 8
- Summer: Opens May 3
- Fall: Opens August 9
- Winter: Opens November 1

How is my allocation created?
We strive to allocate you the wines you enjoy the most. Each spring, fall, and winter, we prepare an allocation for you, featuring a carefully chosen selection of wines tailored to your purchase history and preferences. You get to choose from what is offered and available, purchasing precisely what you desire and requesting more if you wish.
Your participation in each release informs your future allocations and, over time, will earn you access to our full portfolio of wines.
-
What does it mean to wish for wine?
Our wish list feature allows you to request wines beyond those you are allocated. Following the release, any bottles not claimed from allocations will be redistributed to those Members requesting more.
When you make a wish list request, we will only process payment for the wines you are purchasing from your allocation at the time of check out. Upon close of the release, we will accommodate wish list requests, where possible. If your wish is granted we will add the wines to your order and charge the card used for your initial purchase. You will receive an email confirming receipt of the additional bottles and all your wines within the order will ship together.
As most of our wines are limited in production, we are not always able to accommodate your wish list requests. In this case, we will make note of your interest to inform your future allocations.
-
Are there any purchase requirements as a DuMOL Member?
No, you may purchase precisely the quantities you desire from each allocation.
DuMOL Membership is not like joining a wine club; instead, we offer our Members the opportunity to purchase wine from their allocation during each seasonal release. Your participation will inform your future allocations eventually earning you access to our full portfolio and our most desirable Member-exclusive offerings.
As you continue to participate in releases and demonstrate interest in our wines, your allocations will increase. If you choose not to purchase your allocation, we may redistribute your allotment to other Members who desire more wine. To avoid any disruption to your offering, please let us know in advance when you need to skip a release so we can restore your allocation to your desired quantities when you are ready to return.
-
When will I receive my order?
Wines purchased during seasonal offerings will ship on a designated date following the close of the release, weather permitting. We always do our best to accommodate special requests, so please reach out to us if you would like to make alternative arrangements for delivery of your wines.
Purchases made outside of our release periods typically ship on the next available Tuesday, weather permitting. We will contact you shortly after you place your order to confirm your ship date. If you desire a specific ship date, please email us at members@dumol.com.

May I pick up my wine from the winery?
We understand your interest in stopping by the winery, however unfortunately, we do not have a pick-up option available. All wines are stored and shipments are fulfilled from an offsite, temperature-controlled warehouse. Our winery does not have the storage capacity to provide this service.
